어린 시절부터 5개의 보기 중 정답을 고르고 주관식 문제마저도 머릿 속에 베껴놓은 것들 중 하나를 골라서 쓰는 식의 교육을 받은 아이들은 자라서도 그런 식의 정답을 찾게 되는걸까. 누가 몇가지 보기를 주고 그 중에서 하나 골라!라고 할 때 마음에 안정이 생기는걸까. 그 외에는 답이 없는 것처럼 생각해버리면 마음이 편해지는걸까. 모두가 괴롭게 살아가도 그 보기 몇 개 중 하나가 나라면 안전한걸까. 정답은 없는 것이고 그저 마음을 따라가면 모두들 조금씩은 가볍고 후련한 마음일텐데 왜 다들 괜히 무겁게 살면서 서로 짐이 가벼워보인다고 손가락질하는지 모르겠다.  이미 그렇게 사는 법을 배우기엔 너무 늦었단 생각이 들면 사회가 암담해진다. 주어진 것들 중에 딱 정답인 하나를 고르는 삶은 생활이다. 모두가 같은 것을 고르면 결국 영악하고 목소리 큰 놈이 갖게되겠지.
